The Tshirt printing / Garment decoration industry has changed forever, thanks to new developments in printing technology, mainly with the introduction & the improvements of direct to garment printers.

The negative side of printing on to a wide range of Tshirts & other garments, has always been the labour intensiveness & set up time & costs of other processes, such as screen printing & cad cut vinyl. Other papers & processes have been introduced which promise to help, but the fact is they’re usually just as labour intensive, or do not provide the same quality results.

Direct to garment printers were introduced onto the market a few years ago, and although most Tshirt printers agreed that they were promising, results were not up to scratch with other printing processes, and they were regarded by most as too expensive for the results they produced.

However, thankfully over the past few years, there have been a lot of developments in direct to garment printing technology, and now direct to garment printers such as the Gjet, produce fantastic results onto both light & dark garments, results which rival the more established printing processes in many ways.

The investment for a direct to garment printer is still higher than for most of the other digital garment printing processes, such as dye sublimation & Cad cut, but as long as you can provide the work for the machine, the benefits of owning a DTG printer such as the Gjet are numerous.
